I had a lovely four-night stay at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Madrid Prado. The hotel is conveniently located near major attractions like the Prado Museum, and I appreciated the attention from the friendly staff. However, my initial room was quite small, which made unpacking with multiple suitcases a bit tricky. Luckily, I was able to switch to a better room the next day. Overall, I would gladly recommend this hotel for its service and location.

Rooms

I started in a very small handicap room but got moved to a larger one with a nice window view. The beds were comfortable, though both rooms had limited closet and counter space.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, especially when I needed to change my room. They provided great dining suggestions and were attentive to my needs throughout my stay.

The hotel is perfectly situated near the Prado Museum and a short walk to several restaurants and attractions. It provided a great balance of being close to the sights while still being in a quieter area.

I enjoyed breakfast one morning, which had good variety and was very convenient for an early start. There are plenty of dining options nearby that I also found good.

I loved the spa area with its relaxing pool, sauna, and rain showers. It was a wonderful retreat after exploring the city. The gym, though small, was adequate for a quick workout.

I had a fantastic stay at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Madrid Prado, mainly due to its prime location and helpful staff. The hotel is just a short walk from the Prado Museum and offers a cozy atmosphere. While my room was well appointed, the check-in process was a bit delayed, which was slightly frustrating. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for its accessibility and comfort.

Rooms

I found my room spacious and well decorated, offering a lovely view of the square. The amenities were nice, although I wished for a bit more space to store my luggage.
Service

The staff were friendly and accommodating (I got helpful recommendations for nearby eateries), though the initial check-in experience was less than ideal, leading to a bit of a wait.
Location

I loved the hotel's location—it’s right in the center of the Golden Triangle of Art, making it super easy for me to explore the Prado Museum and surrounding attractions on foot.
Dining

The breakfast was quite good, with a decent variety of options (the eggs cooked to order were excellent!) but the dining room felt a bit worn and could use a refresh.

5.0/10

I had a mixed experience at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Madrid. While the location is fantastic, just across from the Prado Museum, my overall stay was marred by issues like slow check-in, a lack of proper air conditioning in my room, and disappointing breakfast options. The staff were friendly, but it felt like there were some gaps in service and amenities that detracted from my experience.

Rooms
5.0
My room was cramped and gloomy with poor air conditioning, which was a letdown given the premium I paid. Although it was clean and the bed was comfortable, the layout made it difficult to store luggage adequately.
Service
5.0
The check-in process was quite slow, and I encountered disinterest from some staff members throughout my stay. While some staff were helpful, they often seemed bothered by requests, which wasn't what I expected.
Location
8.0
The hotel is perfectly positioned right across from the Prado Museum, making it easy to explore major attractions. There are also plenty of nearby dining options, which is a huge plus.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast was limited, with not enough hot items and a dated breakfast room that lacked staff during peak times, making it hard to get service. It felt like the dining experience needed a refresh.
Facilities
5.0
The hotel offered some nice amenities like a spa, but the pool was unavailable during my stay, and other services like room service were limited. This really added to my dissatisfaction.

I had a great stay overall at the Radisson Blu Hotel Madrid Prado. The location was perfect for exploring major attractions, and the spa was a good retreat after a busy day. However, the rooms were quite small, especially the initial room we were given, which made it a bit challenging with our luggage.

Rooms

I initially received a handicap room that was extremely small with limited space for my luggage. After requesting a room change, I was accommodated in a slightly larger room that had a window opening to the square. The rooms are well equipped, but there could be more storage space.
Service
8.0
The staff were friendly and willing to assist with any questions I had, creating a welcoming atmosphere. However, I did experience a minor issue with the initial room assignment, which gave me a bit of a mixed feeling about the service.

I didn’t opt for breakfast initially, but I enjoyed it on my last morning. It was convenient since it opened early, and there are plenty of great dining options nearby.
Facilities

The spa area was a highlight for me with its relaxing facilities, including a warm pool and different showers. The gym was small but sufficient considering all the walking I did around the city.

My stay at Radisson Blu Hotel, Madrid Prado was largely enjoyable thanks to its prime location and the comfort of the room. However, I found the amenities a bit lacking for the price. Even though the room was compact and well-appointed, I missed having more options for relaxation like a gym or a spa.

Rooms

My room was compact yet comfortable with modern amenities. The bed was firm, and I appreciated the eco-friendly approach to laundry. That said, some details, like the TV stand design, felt a bit awkward.
